It’s time for women to stand together in the fight for their lives. Because heart disease is their No. 1 killer, affecting more women than men. Because it’s more deadly than all forms of cancer combined. Because women we love are dying and many more are impacted every day.
The American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women is the world’s largest network standing together to end heart disease. For more than a decade, we’ve led the fight to protect women’s hearts through research and education. Millions of women are uniting by wearing a red dress, our public symbol of the fight. The more women we mobilize to stop our No. 1 health threat, the more lives we can save.
We invite you to join us on Friday, May 16, 2014 at our Go Red For Women Conference at the San Jose Fairmont. This annual event features an exciting mix of fun, education and inspiration as women come together and stand up to heart disease. The conference will begin at 10:00 AM with a reception, followed by educational breakout sessions focusing on pertinent women’s heart health. We will have a separate space dedicated to our Health Expo where vendors will be stationed to offer their goods and services. From 12:00 until 2:00 PM guests will enjoy the luncheon program including words from a heart disease survivor and our keynote speaker.
We hope you will join us in the fight against heart disease and Go Red For Women!
